Student Jobs

You can earn extra money for school with a part-time job on campus that fits your class schedule. Jobs range from clerical to custodial, livestock care to child care, athletic events to website maintenance,  lab preparation and beyond.

They’re real jobs. You must apply for them and exhibit a good work ethic to keep them. They’re not guaranteed as part of your federal aid package.

  • Be currently enrolled in six hours or more as a degree-seeking student to be eligible for a job

How to Apply

1. NWC offers a variety of student employment positions on campus. For a listing of positions click the Visit Student Jobs List above.

2. There are 4 Steps to the hiring process.  All 4 steps must be completed before a student can work any hours in any position.

Good to Know:
  • Beginning August 19, 2024, most jobs will earn $10.25/hour; Custodial, Fitness Center, Grounds, INBRE, Library, and Tutoring positions earn more.
  • You can work more than one job but not more than 20 hours a week total.
  • You’ll be paid monthly.
