With guidance from local and state officials, ΑρΑ«Φ±²₯ is reopening its campus for fall classes, which begin Wednesday, Aug. 19. Courses will be delivered both in-person and online this semester.

All buildings on campus will be open; however, not all entrances will be accessible. Students and members of the public are encouraged to pay attention to signage on the outside of each building that indicates which entrances are open.

Additionally, those who enter are encouraged to use the hand sanitizing stations located in the entryways of each open building.

The reopening plan includes precautions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, while also being as disruption-resistant to student learning as possible. To learn about NWC’s protocol and phases of reopening, visit .

All employees and students are required to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing practices and limit in-person gatherings. Members of the public who visit campus are required to do the same.

The goal is to transition areas of campus between operational conditions throughout the semester, which will allow the college to transition to more restrictive or relaxed guidelines, as possible, based on the current conditions. The plan allows NWC to pivot quickly and to the best of the college’s ability as conditions change throughout the next year.

For the past several weeks, students have received email communications in their NWC inbox about reopening specifics pertaining to residence life, academics, dining on campus, student services, CARES Act grants and student health/reporting.

Students can expect to continue receiving important updates via email as details emerge while the semester progresses.

Those who are interested in taking classes this fall can still register. Courses begin Wednesday, Aug. 19, and the last day to sign up for full-term classes is Aug. 26.
