POWELL, WYOMING – ΑρΑ«Φ±²₯ is inviting students, faculty, staff, and the community to participate in the 2024 Stothart Readings throughout the fall semester. Taking place in the Hinckley Library Amphitheater, the Stothart Readings feature an open mic available to anyone who wishes to read and discuss creative literary works in any discipline, whether their own or another author’s.
Dates scheduled for the fall semester are September 26, October 24, and November 21. Each event runs from noon to 1 p.m., and refreshments will be provided.
The Stothart Readings are named for Rob Stothart, a former associate professor of English at ΑρΑ«Φ±²₯ who helped launch the NWC Writers Series. They represent an opportunity to make connections with other writers and thinkers among the students, faculty, staff, and Powell and Cody communities. Those attending are invited to share works that have brought them inspiration, or simply listen to others.
