Global peacebuilder and educator Aziz Abu Sarah brings his keen insights of the value of creating global citizens through innovative curriculum and transformational travel. The importance of diversifying, revisiting historical narratives, overcoming fear and stereotypes, and cultivating a spirit of exploration and curiosity. You will hear first-hand stories from around the world that exemplify the value of developing a global perspective in the 21st century.

This presentation, which is being conducted live via Zoom, features a 45-minute virtual talk and a 15-minute Q&A session. The event, which is part of the 2024 Global Studies Seminar and sponsored by the International and Foreign Language Program at the US Department of Education, is free and open to the public, and lunch will also be served.
