The Photographic Communications program at NWC is holding its 2nd Annual Photo Contest and Exhibition, and the public is invited to the awards presentation and opening on February 6. The exhibit will be on display in SinClair Gallery from February 6 through March 22.

Serving as this year's juror is award-winning photojournalist Mark Davis from the Powell Tribune. Cash prizes will be awarded in amateur and professional categories, with contest entry fees used for prizes and future scholarships for NWC photo students.

Cash prizes are as follows:

• Amateur 1st place: $100
• Amateur 2nd place: $50
• Amateur 3rd place: $25

• Professional 1st place: $150
• Professional 2nd place: $50
• Professional 3rd place: $25
