The Northwest Civic Orchestra performs its spring concert on Saturday, April 20 at 7 p.m. in the Nelson Performing Arts Auditorium. General admission tickets are $12.00, seniors 62 and up are $8.00, and students and children are admitted free of charge. Tickets will be sold at the door evening of concert. A reception with refreshments will follow afterward.
The featured soloist is violinist Megan Karls (pictured). The concert includes the work of notable composers Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonin Dvorak, Johannes Brahms, and Georges Bizet.
This year, we are opening the dress rehearsal for seniors and students/youth K-12 who would like to enjoy music but may not otherwise be able to attend the evening concert. It is a working rehearsal, so those in attendance will need to be respectful and quiet. Younger children should be accompanied by a parent. Doors to the rehearsal open 11:00 am.
