Learn firsthand how the Lunar New Year is observed in a handful of Asian countries as NWC students from China, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, and Thailand host a program about the “what, how, why and where” of Lunar New Year in their native lands. Following the presentation, the public is invited to participate in festive games and activities traditional to holiday celebrations in these countries.

Engage with students in conversations about the cultures, geography and traditions of their respective countries.

As is customary, the audience will be treated to a sensorial feast, including a selection of food from each country. The event is sponsored by the NWC Multicultural Club and the Office of Intercultural Programs.

This event is free and open to the public.
